| FABP4

Fatty acid-binding protein 4 (FABP4), also known as adipocyte FABP (A-FABP) or aP2, is primarily expressed in adipocytes and macrophages and plays a crucial role in the development of insulin resistance and atherosclerosis associated with meta-inflammation. FABP4 lacks a typical secretory signal peptide but is released from adipocytes via non-classical pathways associated with lipolysis, potentially functioning as an adipokine.

| Linearity
