| REG3b

The family of regenerating (REG) proteins is a group of C-type lectin-like proteins discovered in patients with pancreatitis and during pancreatic islet regeneration after injury. Regenerating islet-derived protein III-beta (REG3b) is Bactericidal C-type lectin which acts against several intestinal Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria.Acts as a hormone in response to different stimuli. Secreted by different cell types to activate its receptor EXTL3 and induce cell specific signaling pathways.In pancreas, is able stimulate cell proliferation.

| Recovery

The recovery of Mouse REG3b spiked at three different levels in samples throughout the range of the assay was evaluated in various matrices.
