| FOXO3

Foxo3, also known as FOXO3 or FOXO3a, is a protein encoded by the FOXO3 gene. FOXO3 belongs to the O subclass of the Foxo transcription factor family, characterized by a unique Foxo DNA-binding domain. Three additional members of the FoxO family exist: FOXO1, FOXO4, and FOXO6. These transcription factors share the common property of being inhibited and translocated out of the nucleus upon phosphorylation by proteins such as Akt/PKB within the PI3K signaling pathway (except for FOXO6, which may be constitutively nuclear).

| Recovery

The recovery of Human FOXO3 spiked at three different levels in samples throughout the range of the assay was evaluated in various matrices.
