| Cyclin-D1
Cyclin-D1 (Cyclin-D1) is a protein encoded by the CCND1 gene. The CCND1 gene encodes the cyclin D1 protein, which is located on the long arm of chromosome 11 (band 11q13). The gene spans 13,388 base pairs and is translated into 295 amino acids. Except for cells derived from bone marrow stem cell lineages (including lymphoid and myeloid lineages), cyclin D1 is expressed in all adult tissues. Its overexpression has been shown to be associated with early cancer onset and tumor progression. It can contribute to tumorigenesis by enhancing anchorage-dependent growth and angiogenesis through increased VEGF production.| Typical data
